DIGITAL ABSTRACT PAINTINGS BY JEF BOURGEAU

Jef Bourgeau started with a Commodore 64 computer in 1981, creating abstract paintings using basic software. Since then, Bourgeau has digitally eaten the brains and guts of the first hundred years of abstraction - only to relieve it all back onto canvas and print in new and playful ways as he drags and drops, scans, compresses and unpacks, crashes and reboots.
